The Cultural Grant Program from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) invests in free or low-cost arts and cultural festivals and presentations, festival collaborations between community service organizations and local arts organizations, and nonprofit arts organization creative projects resulting in quantifiable sets of business/networking activities. All DCA grant-funded services must support public-benefit activities that take place within the City of Los Angeles. 

For the 2026-27 cycle, DCA invites new project proposals within the disciplines of Culture/History, Design-Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Media Arts, and Traditional-Folk Arts. Note there is no "off-cycle" artistic category offered this year; applicants with projects in dance, music, theatre, and trans-disciplinary arts should wait until the subsequent grant cycle in summer 2026 to apply for funding consideration.
